About Our Instructor
Mrs. Tiffany Mason has over 25 years of music experience. She grew up in a small town on the Big Island of Hawaii within a household of musicians; her mother taught her clarinet around the age of 10, and she has tagged along with her father, a band director, orchestra conductor, and trumpetist, to various ensemble concerts, musicals, adjudications, etc.
She began her piano studies with her aunt, Gloria Mendoza-Watson, at the age of 12. She gained a passion for playing piano and decided to pursue her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Lawrence Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Dmitri Novgorodsky. She furthered her studies at the University of Oklahoma and pursued her Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, under the tutelage of Dr. Edward Gates, Dr Jane Magrath and Dr. Barbara Fast. During her post-graduate studies, she had the honor of accompanying numerous soloists and various ensembles. She has taught both music and non-music majors, through private and group lessons.
Following God’s calling, she further pursued an Advance Diploma in Worship and Technical Arts at Christ for the Nations Institute, where she contributed to leading worship, teaching of the Word, and leading small group Bible studies.
She has also taught private and group students through Lawrence University’s pedagogy program, The Master’s Touch in Grapevine, TX and Delights Piano Studio in Yukon, OK.
She currently is privileged to play keys and help lead worship at OKC Faith Church for over 10 years, under the leadership of Pastor Terry Bates, and Pastor Henry Amador.
She is proud to be wife and mother to three beautiful children, whom she considers her greatest ministry.
